A meat and cheese masterpiece is about to land at Wayback Burgers – but this time in the form of a classic Philly Cheesesteak. America’s hometown burger joint, serving delicious, fresh burgers made from 100-percent ground beef, hand-dipped milkshakes and more, today announced the introduction of its new Philly Cheesesteak – sliced, perfectly seasoned steak topped with melted American cheese and grilled onions on a sub roll – at participating Wayback Burgers restaurants nationwide, available for a limited time from January 16 – April 16.
To further tempt the taste buds, Wayback Burgers is also introducing Old Bay® House-Made Chips, its mainstay crunchy chips dusted with the Chesapeake Bay area’s cult classic Old Bay seasoning, and STUBBORN SODA® Classic Root Beer or Black Cherry flavors, crafted soda made with Fair Trade Certified Cane Sugar and stevia, and without high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners and azo dyes. Guests are encouraged to share snaps of their Philly Cheesesteak, Old Bay House-Made Chips and STUBBORN SODA on Snapchat and use the hashtag #SteakFace on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
“The Philly Cheesesteak is an American favorite, just like our much-loved offering of burgers, fries and shakes,” said John Eucalitto, president of Wayback Burgers. “We are excited to bring this piece of Americana to Wayback Burgers restaurants nationwide, along with our Old Bay House-Made Chips and Stubborn Soda. We think guests are going to love it.”
Wayback Burgers offers delicious, cooked-to-order burgers, available as a single, classic double, triple and triple triple (nine) patty, and rich, thick milkshakes, served in an environment that hearkens back to a simpler place and time – when “customer service” meant something and everyone felt the warmth of the community. Going “way” beyond the burger, Wayback Burgers offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and delicious sides, including fries, onion rings and House-Made Chips.
