Thanks to the ambitious expansion plans from major chains like McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Jack in the Box, and Shake Shack, Americans are getting a mind-boggling number of new burger spots in 2024. Customers can also count on seeing dozens of new store openings from an emerging chain that accelerating its growth efforts.
Wayback Burgers, which ended 2023 with 165 restaurants, recently unveiled plans to add 25 to 30 new U.S. locations in 2024. That’s a significant increase over the net total of 18 restaurants it opened over the past three years.
The markets slated to get a new Wayback location in 2024 include New Orleans, New York City, Missouri, Texas, California, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Utah, and Indiana.
