Q: What is the Wayback Payback Loyalty Program?
A: The Wayback Payback Loyalty Program was designed to thank our wonderful Guests (like you!). Rewards members receive points for every transaction ($1 = 1 point) by scanning the barcode on their Apple or Android smartphone, or by providing the phone number associated with their account at the register.
Q: What if I don’t have an Apple or Android smartphone? Am I excluded from this program?
A: Absolutely not! Members can also earn and redeem points by providing the phone number associated with their account at the register. Please visit www.waybackpayback.com for more information or for account management.
Q: Can I use the scan feature in Wayback Burgers app for the Wayback Payback Loyalty Program at any Wayback Burgers location?
A: No, unfortunately the scan feature is not available at all locations yet. For restaurants that do not have the scan feature, you can provide your phone number for account lookup.
Q: Can I redeem rewards at any Wayback Burgers location?
A: At this time, the Wayback Payback Loyalty Program is only available at participating locations. Members cannot redeem rewards at a Wayback Burgers location that is not participating in the program. To see if a specific location is participating in the program, visit www.waybackburgers.com/locations and select the location to view restaurant information.
Q: How do I earn and redeem points for my purchases at Wayback Burgers?
A: There are three ways to earn points for your Wayback Burgers purchases.
- Provide your phone number at the register before placing your order.
- Download the Wayback Burgers app and scan your barcode.

Q: What if an order is $8.75? Do I get 8 points or 9?
A: 9 points. Transactions are rounded to the nearest dollar amount from $.50.
Q: If I have 50 points, can I get a $2.50 reward?
A: No, rewards are earned in $5 increments when you earned 100 points. You must reach $100 points before you get a reward.
Q: If I have multiple $5 rewards earned, can I redeem all of them at once?
A: The $5 rewards are set up for auto redemption, which means that if you reached 100 points and have earned the $5 reward, the $5 reward will be deducted from your next transaction using the Wayback Payback Loyalty Program.
Q: What if I activate a reward but my check total is lower than the reward amount I activated?
A: The excess reward not used will remain in your account. For example, if you have a $5 reward but your total is $4, $1 will remain in your account and will be applied to your next transaction.
Q: What if I have a $5 reward and another offer that I received through the loyalty program? Can I use both at the same time?
A: No, one per check. Offers are redeemed automatically based on which one expires sooner. In the app, there is a tab where you can see which offer is going to expire sooner.
Q: If I forget to scan my app at the register while ordering, can I still get points for my order?
A: Of course! You can bring it to the attention of a Team Member on staff, or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 877-229-7299. You can also use the Forgot My Card function on the app!
Q: Can I earn points and redeem rewards on online orders?
A: Points can be earned on online orders, but cannot be redeemed at this time.
Q: What if I realize something went wrong with my transaction in the app once I have left Wayback Burgers? Do I need to come back the restaurant to fix the issue?

Q: How much space does the app take up on my smartphone?
A: Under 10MB.
Q: I’m a member of the email and/or text program. What’s happening with text/email?
A: Nothing! We will still continue to send text/emails to keep you in the loop.
Q: Does it cost anything to become a Wayback Payback member?
A: Nope, it’s totally free!
Q: Why should I provide my email address to join?
A: Opting in to receive emails automatically registers you and allows Wayback Burgers to send you loyalty-exclusive offers, announcements of our innovative products and other burger-related news.
Q: Why should I provide my phone number to join?
A: A phone number is required to set up your Wayback Payback account as it is how we lookup your account. When earning or redeeming points at the register, you will either provide your phone number, or scan your app to perform that transaction through your account.
Q: Can I choose not to receive emails?
A: Members can opt out of emails at any time. Keep in mind, you’d be missing out on some juicy news!
Q: How do I cancel my Wayback Payback account?

Q: If I’ve enrolled in the restaurant, how do I see my points online or on the app?
A: Easy! Download the app and enter the phone number you used to register for the Wayback Payback Loyalty Program or, visit www.waybackpayback.com and sign in.
Q: When can I start earning points?
A: You can start earning points right away! As soon as you register for the Wayback Payback Loyalty Program via the app, online or in store, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you that you are now a member of the program. Next time you’re in for a bite, you can scan your app or provide your phone number to start earning points.
Q: Can I earn points on gift card purchases?
A: No, points cannot be earned for gift card purchases.
Q: Can I earn points when I used my rewards to pay for my purchase?
A: Yes. For example, if your total is $10 and you redeem a $5 reward, you will earn 5 points.

Q: Do my rewards or offers expire?
A: $5 rewards do not expire, however, offers may have expiration dates which will vary and are identified with each offer announcement/notification.
Q: How do I redeem my offers?
A: If you have the Wayback Burgers app, available offers will be listed in the “My Offers” tab for you to present at the time of your purchase. If you are viewing an offer that was sent via email or text, you may need to print or show the email at the time of purchase, as indicated in the fine print of the email.
