McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Red Robin and more have National Burger Day deals, free food Friday

Two beefy made-up food holidays collide Friday.

Ahead of Memorial Day barbecues and cookouts, May 28 is National Burger Day, aka National Hamburger Day, and the lesser-known National Brisket Day. It’s also considered International Burger Day.

And as businesses typically do for made-up food holidays, they are celebrating by offering deals and freebies Friday. Some specials are ongoing offers and many require an app or membership in a loyalty program.

If you’re going to celebrate by grilling up a burger at home, be careful because not cooking ground beef properly can be deadly.

We’ve rounded up the burger bargains available Friday at participating locations nationwide.
